I love summer at the beach,
Sitting and looking out at horizon,
Watching the curving waves undulating,
Swell as they approach the shore,
Wash upon the waiting sand,
Then expire and be absorbed again.

Such beauty on a sunny day,
Whitecaps rolling into the glistening bay,
Sound of waves gently slapping onto the beach
As though asleep, the breathing steady,
As I sit upon the dunes and watch
Young bodies slowly bronze
Under the blazing sun.
